Many of you may ask why am i asking this question, it is because a girl got sexually assaulted on my campus at 6:15pm
At the risk of trying to make an intelligent answer, perhaps opportunity is more of a guiding force than their personal preference
Perhaps testosterone is clogging up they're mind
because it isn't about sex, its about power and control over another smaller person, and the need for power over another person does not happen at any specific time.
i really don't know because i don't do that!!!you would have to be one to know if you know what i'm saying!!
i thought they were most likely to strike between like 5:30 - 8:30 in the morning or something like that...mayb cuz they dont want to get caught cuz its still dark....i dunno
they just want to get some. people like that don't care about anything.

Are you referring to some sort of study regarding time of day and rape? If so, I would be hesitant about the conclusions of such a study without reading what their criteria was.
A few years ago some scientists predicted that sharks are hungrier at certain times of the day and certain times of the year based on shark attacks. Like 10 am till about 12 pm and then again from 4pm till about sunset during the summer time is when sharks are most likely to attack people. It was assumed that is because this is when sharks prefer to go hunting. After that came out someone pointed out that during those times and those times of the year is when you have the most people in the water. If you adjust for the number of people in the water, the odds of attack were the same at different times of day and different times of the year.
The moral of the story. An opportunistic hunter (be it shark or rapist) relies on opportunity. The opportunistic will take advantage of the situation when it happens. No more, no less.
Well to ask this question, first one needs to ask what type of rapist one is talking about. There are charachtersitics in a rapist that define the type of rapist one is. There are rapists that were raped themselves at a young age and are out for revenge, there are rapists that were never raped themselves and are driven by control, etc. In my opinion, the type of rapist that would not care what time of the day he/she strikes is a rapist with nothing to loose and is not that intellegent. Most rapists strike at night because the chances of getting caught or being seen are less. So to answer your question I would have to say rapist with nothing to loose dont care what time of the day they choose tor srike. A rapist that has reached his or her limit will not consider the consequences and will not premeditate the rape. I hope this answers your question

i feel that they strike at that time because it is most likely that they feel that they will get away with it. hocestly i think that rapist are victims themselves, they are people who are sick and have no feeling for themselves, their families let alone another person. nobody is born a criminal or a rapist, the question is what made them choose to lead on this way of life? is it soceity or personal reasons, what can we do to help stop the madness? perhaps the solution will never be accomplish but the answer is there,
I THINK THEY DON'T CARE WHAT TIME IT IS. AS LONG AS THEY GET WHAT THEY WANT AND THERE AREN'T ANY INTTERUPTIONS STOPNG THEY FROM GETTING OFF. OR IT COULD BE THEY DON'T CARE THE TIME AS LONG AS THEY GET A RUSH OR EXCITMENT FROM HARMING ANOTHER PERSON AND THERE IS THE CHANCE OF BEING CAUGHT OR NOT CAN ALSO BE THE REASON.
